I woke up this morning with a lot of excitement. After announcing that I would be having my first Kiriban, I went all out making sure I could get people to my page, upping the pageviews as well as maybe gather some more competition.  I sent out bucketloads of llamas, as well as sent out many comments and votes on Getwatchers to earn views as well. As I wanted the Kiriban went fast, without keeping people waiting for days ion my normally slow profile. It was really great fun watching that number climb closer.

So now the time comes to announce my one and only winner. Ooh, I can't wait!

What this is:
I've done a few commissions, mainly on gaiaonline, and now I want to start making art for others on Deviant Art. I want to be able to improve my skills mainly in the posing and coloring area, as well as gain points to fund my Subscription. As you can see, chibi's are cheaper for both lineart and coloring, because they are easy/ they start at 20pts for busts and are colored for just thirty more, while more realistic busts start at fifty and are colored at 100 with all their itty bitty details.

I recently got a few very nasty messages from some hack who thought he couldn't come to me as a reasonable person, and even had a blank account prepared in the task of biting my a**. That or he makes it his job to chew people out. I don't know, but rankly I don't believe I deserved such  animalistic treatment. His reason for being mad? because he didn't get a reply to a message saying that he wanted to request some art from me.

It hurts when people insult me. I came to this site hoping to find friends and mentors. I want to be liked and accepted. I want to have a place in which I can show of everything I've worked so hard on.

I might take the request... if you can make him sound interesting below. I would not know what to ask for though, why don't you suggest?

Multiple things I wanna know,

What is he? By the picture, are those green spikes/horns on the back of his head (like on the skull) or something similar to tentacles?

Is his body(below neck) identical in form to that of your human male or does it have other extra or modified parts? ei...elbow spikes, claws, tail, skin markings?

any weapons or items he has or frequently uses?

What 'persona' is he? what attitude does he hold in his default? He looks rather neutral/melancholy in the picture you sent, but is attire and the background mood suggest a darker theme than his expression and pose. Some of the artists that drew him made him look very evil, while a good lot of them made him look silly.

How would you want him drawn? Chibi? normal? Pose? basiically anything else you wanted to mention?

Can you show me the other reference links again, with some 'insight'? The whole picture doesn't have to be perfect, it can be like "this person got the skull right", "awesome expression" or this is the best armor reference of him". whatever.

I haven't gotten many requests about him, but I will try my best. He is a lizard humanoid (a race I haven't found a good name for yet). He is a Shadow Knight, but has many powers of his own.

His power comes from an accident that happened with him years ago, he was infected with a deadly disease, and his older brother made it looked like an accident that the machine malfunctioned that was used to terminate the sickness within him. Instead of killing him, however, his cells fused with the disease and his mind was basically going through total hell during the process. Now his head always aches, there's a demonic voice always trying to get him to do evil, but he eventually overcomes it.

He is considered a hero, but he follows by his own rules. He is probably the "tough" guy of the group, and his eyes always narrowed. This is only because no one would be in a good mood if their mind was always in torture. He isn't snappy really, but does have little patience.

He has two blades he basically made from his dark magic, called the Dark Watchers. He summons them by opening two portals on the ground and catching them when they get hurled out of them.

He has a couple main attacks, one in which he throws his swords at his target's head, and the carved eyes in his swords let out dark magic that attacks the enemy's mind and stuns them. His strongest attack for a while is Blood Spear (later grows in power to be called Soul Spear). His swords fly around him, covered in magic, then is hurled into the enemy in a spiral motion and the swords return to him much like a boomerang. Blood spear uses some of his own blood to cast, while Soul spear is another attack, his swords shift into another dimension to pierce the enemy's very soul so armor does not protect against this one.

Hoping this wall of text won't bore you, just didn't want to leave anything out. I don't mind the silly pictures of him, I just enjoy seeing other people draw him lol.

His body is much like a human male, except he has no hair, spikes instead (they look like tentacles). His skin is white on his body, hands, and feet. He has a tail, and his fingers do have claws on the ends instead of just nails. His skull is from an unknown beast and is not part of his body.

— List some things that you like about yourself: I like my ambition. I always work hard and try to do better. I like how positive I am. I like my face and my smile. I like my honesty and my integrity. I like my social improvement
— List some things that you dislike about yourself: The scars across my wrists, the memory of middle school, My butt and legs and arms. I dislike my fears, and my weaknesses. I dislike how flustered I get.
— Do you focus more on your good traits or your flaws?: Flaws. I have to defeat them all one by one. I've already fixed a lot of them just by confronting them
— Are you trying to make any improvements with yourself?: Yes, I am always trying to improve
— How do/would your friends and/or family describe you?: Socially inapropriate, chronic foot in mouth, wrong time wrong place...well meaning, helpful, selfmotivated.

— I am (short-tempered / difficult to anger): I am very difficult to anger, and if i get angry I tend to diffuse quickly or turn it inward and deal with sadness for a day. Its really rare I can get worked up enough to shout or express my anger
— When wronged I typically (hold a grudge / let it go): I can' hold a grudge. It never seems worth it. I always end up sympathizing on the end of the person who wronged me. I am way too forgiving and I know one day people are going to start walking all over me for it.
— I prefer to (give / receive): I like to give. I feel bad when people give me things, nice, expensive or otherwise. They thought about me and gave me these and so How am I supposed to properlythank them? To give makes me feel good because I like to see peoples faces light up. I buy little things and give them for no reason. And beyond that..you probably won't ever see christmas or bday from me. It's all spontanious. I don't like feeing inclined or required to give because of some special holiday or event

— In regards to opinions, am usually (respectful / disrespectful): Respectful. I don't enjoy opinion sniping.

— I am (open to contact / don't like being touched): I love to cuddle. I love touching and the physical contact. I don't get enough of it though. I am so unloved
